How to export contacts to an excel list?

The Export feature allows you to export the contacts to save all your contact information into a spreadsheet. The Contacts app allows you to export contacts in both CSV and XLS format.
CSV format - All the values are separated by commas.
XLS format - An excel sheet in the binary file format that holds all the information.

Here, you can export the contact information in two options.

All Fields - Displays all the fields present in the Contacts app.
Current View - Displays only the fields present in the current layout.

Let’s go through the steps to export all the contacts in the Contacts app.

Steps to export contacts in XLS format

Log in and access the Contacts app from the universal navigation bar.
Select all the contacts to export.

Now, click on the Bulk Actions dropdown.
Select Export → .xls → All Fields from the dropdown.

Here, you can view all the fields present in the Contacts app in XLS format.

Select Export → .xls → Current View from the dropdown.

Steps to export contacts in CSV format

Now, click on the Bulk Actions dropdown.
Select Export → .csv → All Fields from the dropdown.
